A smile on her lips : yet dying inside
She knew she was depressed..
Yet she learnt how to smile.
Pills didn't fix it, they just
calmed it awhile.
The gloom fell...
And the fight was done.
The tears faded, with
The setting sun.
The world didn't see
the pain in her eyes.
'cause people... they always
sought comfort in lies
She learned how to smile
As her heart still cried.
That's how she was remembered:
A smile on her lips, whilst dying inside...
